Q2 reportable data breach report is out. Key highlights from a digital health point of view include,


1.   At least 1 in 3 breaches were due to a human element, e.g. sharing credentials, easily guessable passwords and the same password on multiple platforms

2. Malicious or criminal attacks were the most common this quarter at 62%

3. Health was the biggest sector at 19% closely followed by financial services at 17%

4. Total breaches for the quarter = 245, about on par with previous
